Why do we have to give thanks to God ?

Why do we have to give thanks to God?

والله أخرجكم من بطون أمهاتكم لا تعلمون شيئا وجعل لكم السمع والأبصار والأفئدة لعلكم تشكرون"And Allah brought you out of your mother's stomach in a state of not knowing anything, and He gave you hearing and sight and hearts, that ye may be grateful." (Surat an-Nahl: 78)

"It is He Who has created for you all, hearing, sight and hearts. Very few you thankful "[al Mu'minuun 78]Let us contemplate ourselves.
Who has created both our eyes?
Both our ears?
Our mouths?
Feet and hands?
 God is not it?
Why we do not want to be grateful?

Just to buy frames and lenses alone can run thousands of dollars. Our eyes are certainly worth far above it.Why are we not grateful? At the heart, he can spend hundreds of millions of dollars to treat. Are not we supposed to be grateful to God who has given heart to us for free of charge? If we observe our parents, our children, our wives, all that God created.Similarly, the earth and sky and all its contents."And if ye count the favors of God, ye can not specify the amount. Verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. "[An Nahl: 18]

Therefore Luqman advised his son to be grateful to Allah:"And verily We gave wisdom to Luqman, namely:" Be thankful to God. And those who give thanks (to Allah), then surely he is grateful for himself, and whoever ungrateful, then surely Allah is Rich, Praiseworthy. "[Luqman 12]To give thanks to God, we should say Alhamdulillah, as the hadith above.

Say also dhikr of Allah:"
Those on the morning of dhikr: Allahumma ashbaha bii min ni'matin au biahadin min khalqika faminka wahdaka hamdu wa laa syariikalaka falakal lakasy syukru."(O God, for the blessings you have given me today or you have given one of thy creatures, it was so delicious it was just from you and there is no partner to You. All praise and gratitude just for You )Then he delivered the day with gratitude. And those who speak it in the afternoon, he has fulfilled his night with gratitude. "(Narrated by Abu Dawood no.5075, dihasankan by Shaikh Abdul Qadir Al Arnauth in the book Raudhatul tahqiqnya Muhadditsin)"From Ibn Abbas Radhiallahu'anhuma, he said: When it rained in the Shallallahu'alaihi Prophet SAW, and the Prophet said: 'On this rainy, there are people who are grateful and kufr there favor. People who are grateful to say: 'This is the grace of God'. People who Kufr favor say: 'Oh proper course was no sign so and so' "(Narrated by Muslim # 243)وأما بنعمة ربك فحدث

"And the favors given by your Lord, perbanyaklah call it" (Surah Adh Duha: 11)

We should work for the sake of Allah:"The genie is made to Solomon what he wanted from tall buildings and statues and plates (large) such as ponds and pot are fixed (above the stove). Work O house of David to give thanks (to Allah). And very few of My servants are grateful. "[Saba '13]Prophets often so long prayer of thanksgiving to God. He used to pray nightly / Tahajjud and Duha prayer:"Rasulullah SAW Shallallahu'alaihi usually when he prayed, he stood so long that his feet hardened skin. 'A'isha said: Messenger of Allah, why do you get that? Is not that your sins are forgiven, both past and future? Besabda Prophet: 'O' A'ishah, should I not be a grateful servant? '"(Narrated by Bukhari no.1130, no.2820 Muslim)

Shallallahu'alaihi Rasulullah SAW said:

"A believer is truly amazing, because his case was any good. But it will not be so except in a true believer. If he gets the pleasure, he is grateful, and that's good for him. If he is afflicted with hardship, he perseveres, and it was good for him "(Narrated by Muslim no.7692)We should fear Allah. This means that each run away from God's commandments and prohibitions of Allah:ولقد نصركم الله ببدر وأنتم أذلة فاتقوا الله لعلكم تشكرون"Indeed Allah has helped you in the battle of Badr, when ye were (then) those who are weak. Therefore fear Allah, that ye may be grateful for it "(Surah Al 'Imran: 123)One way of ingratitude towards God is to thank the man who brokered the arrival of God's favor to us. Shallallahu'alaihi Prophet SAW said:"People who do not thank people, does not mean he is thankful to God" (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi no.2081, he said: "This hadeeth is hasan saheeh") Therefore, thank noble character is taught by Islam.

Shallallahu'alaihi Prophet SAW said:
"Whoever is given a favor to him and he responded by saying: 'Jazaakallahu Khayr' (may Allah reward you with goodness), then truly it has been inadequate in expressing his gratitude" (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi no.2167, he said: "This hadeeth jayyid Hasan Gharib ")Always Qana'ah or feel enough for the blessings that God has given:"Be who wara ', then you will be the most dutiful servant. Be the qana'ah, then you would be most grateful servant "(Narrated by Ibn Majah no. 4357, dishahihkan Al-Albani in Saheeh Ibni Majah)

Perform Prostration Gratitude:
"From Abu Bakrah Nafi 'Ibn Harith Radhiallahu'anhu he said: Rasulullah SAW Shallallahu'alaihi usually find something menggemberikan when he knelt to worship. As an expression of gratitude to God "(Narrated by Abu Dawood no.2776, dihasankan by Al-Albani in Irwa Al Ghalil)pray:Allahumma a'inni 'syukrika wa wa ala dzukrika habitable' ibadatika"O Allah, I ask your help so that you made me the servant who always dhikr, grateful and worship thee well"
